D-Town Love

Hi all-
Just wanted to do a quick mid-week update to give some love to my last home- Durham, NC-
Why now you might be asking? Well friends, two reasons. A) Some D Town lovin' is coming my way- my good friend Susie Gilbert is coming to visit me for a few days and she gets in tomorrow. So woo hoo. (Now, if the Hurricanes had won tonight, well I'd be wooing Rick Flare style, but they are going to be pushing it to the last minute on securing their spot in the play-offs it looks like)...
Oh, and the second reason- so one of my best friends, who also lives in Durham, is the featured preacher on Day1- A national radio show for Protestant churches. So, Donovan will be having his sermon played this Sunday and the next Sunday on the radio program- and I am pretty excited for him. So those of yall in Raleigh, you can tune in on Sunday to 680AM at 9 in the morning or if you are in Durham you can listen to 570 or 620am at 8 in the morning. Unfortunately, you can't listen to it hear in Austin- the closest place is Junction, TX- but you can download/listen to the sermon and/or read it on line at http://www.day1.net/. So, if you get the chance- check it out and support my friend Donovan and his quest for world evangelism- (my theory, not his). But seriously- Donovan is a really good preacher, and those of you have heard him before can attest to this, his sermons are worth a listen.

Anyways- that's the latest from here- I need to get to cleaning-
